Recruitment drive - once we all clear on plan and stages and in - lets go for it :-)

evening or Saturday - office walk in - we could even go out on the road and book hotel room to meet with people in the country to pick up the best people for the business journey (advertise in local papers in main cities and on travel recruitment websites for example) hr can do this

CEO, presentations, vision - talk with hr + sales - then come in for one to one for specific roles

recruit 1 - 2 trainers - adhoc hr/admin

what staff are we looking for - sales people and marketing - all future employees, even if decision making role - decision maker should still do it as we are all individuals working towards a goal and if they do not buy into the visions through training they are not the correct family member.

So they may make crucial decisions for the good of the business but they still have to learn it first and understand who we are or where we began the story and the vision. WWTE - worldwide travel extras - actually training should include current staff members a one day positive blitz...

Training: probably a 2 week course! investing in good people - worth the time and effort to get good people that believe and then run.

All about the people - word of mouth and marketing straight away.

7 days office approx

3 days product experiencing - in the footsteps of our customer

critical - must have training on the following:

Day 1

Vision - presentation - about the business - our story and the plan moving forward

professional video - correct dates - slide presentation then to now......every business has a story and a starting place and new employees want to know about it

Meet the founder and key people - warm welcome

Meet key people from each department and just say hi and what they do within the business

Learn each other - ice breaker

Usp's and what makes the brand - what does it stand for - representing the brand

Business model

Websites

Products - transfers, lounge etc

Day 2

Main suppliers and competitors and place in the market

Product knowledge training - all products offered - transfers, vehicle types, lounges, experiences, airport hotels etc etc

Day 3

brief overview sales b2b and b2c  - main customers, demographic, how to book - white label, xml , commission etc etc

marketing - mailers - calendar and how we operate ppc, seo etc - digital

Day 4

Systems and booking process and back office - depending on roles ie sales or admin or marketing -specific training

one on one - feedback on the week - do they fit, positive about the business and plan

Day 5

customer journey - expectations and getting to know our customer

Day  - 6

experience products 1 - 2 nights away - 3 days depending on country

- airport parking - lounge - transfer - 2 or 3 experiences in Majorca, Turkey, Greece and a welcome from supplier - talk about country, tourism, customer expectations and the programme

course group of 10 - 15 - 3 people go to Dubai, 2 people to Majorca - 2 people to turkey as an example

supplier by in and trust - but at this stage of the game if they want  to be on board they should be professional and assist the business with training requirements to help it grow- better for everybody. In everybody's interest to be positive and promote - otherwise leave

Day 10

presentation by employees - ideas and current information and feedback about the experience and products (they would be like a mystery shopper - feedback to us about the experience, supplier friendliness, standards - any changes  etc

clear goals and expectations of their role for 12 months minimum - probation 6 months - mentor / buddy to go to with questions

last day- perks of the business, room for promotion, pension, health care, holiday etc
