So, I would just like to add to my presentation that the college refers to Travel as "Travel and Tourism Industry" Give an overview of sectors!
My preferred or updated "REFERENCE" or "CATEGORY" would be SECTOR or SPACE.
Therefore we would refer to the "Travel and Tourism Sector" with Sub sectors or components" OR "Travel and Tourism Space" with CORE sectors and various and unlimited overarching sectors - open to interpretation to some degree.
AND I do not sit happy with Cruise being in Transport sector because some cruises are experiences and guests/ customers/clients do not always get off, could be a weekend river cruise - NOT transport from here to there like a train or taxi. AND sometimes the guests SLEEP on the cruise or ship in a bed unlike a taxi or public bus! Updated 18th August 2026.
However link to engineering and invention and industry then could go under transport?

Please note that the selection process will consist of a panel interview and a presentation. Please prepare a 10 minute presentation giving an overview of the sectors within the Travel and Tourism Industry for Level 2 learners. You will present this to the panel.
